every year, all the lamb sisters and mama lamb go out and have a girls day. It's a great tradition I think! It's a way to just get all the girls and have no kids or hubbys to distract us from a great day of shopping, eating, and movies! This year we went out to eat then to hobby lobby and got some crafts for our homes, then to cold stone for dessert. Mama Lamb gave us some earrings that are adorable.
I have been staying with Colten's parents while he left to go back to New Orleans. He had to go to work, and I decided to stay another two weeks because I just miss my family so much, and this will be the only time I get to spend time with them before we head back to Hawaii in september. So all of our stuff is at their house so I have been down in the basement. It has been fun staying here without Colten I've realized. I miss him, but hanging out with Papa Jay, and Mama Lamb help me understand Colten. Not in a bad way, but I can see where Colten gets certain habits from how his dad acts, and I can see different reactions he does from his mama. It all makes sense to me now! I would recommend for any newlywed woman to have a chance to stay with her in-laws...without the hubby..or vise versa. You truly learn a lot, in a good way.
I've been having a blast staying in Utah longer. I know I should be feeling bad, but I haven't been with our families all year pretty much, and I won't here in september so I'm taking full advantage!
