1 our story

Colten and I met the summer of 2009. I had just came home from Mexico where I taught students English and lived with my grandma for a few months. I had just ended a relationship before I left to Mexico and felt like I had a fresh beginning as I came home. I had learned a lot in those few months, and was ready to go explore the rest of the world!
But I soon came to a halt on my travels because of this boy.

Colten had just came home from a LDS Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was looking to explore the world as well, and we happened to cross paths when we went to a bonfire with some mutual friends.

We soon discovered that we had grown up in the same city, went to the same high school (he is a few years older than me) and only lived about a mile away from each other. It was a total shock that we hadn't met before!

::That just proves timing is everything::

The instant we met, we couldn't stop thinking of each other. Something was felt different than any other relationship, and we both couldn't deny that about one another.

We were inseparable every since that night at the bonfire -give or take a few days for him to hunt me down on facebook and get my number.

About a year later, Colten proposed to me in on a cold, september night in a cold stone creamy parking lot.
He got down on one knee, and pulled out the most beautiful ring.
In shock, I somehow spilled the word 'yes' out of my mouth.

We got married for time and all eternity in March 2011 in the Manti Utah Temple,  on a beautiful sunny day!

Ever since..we have been traveling from place to place, exploring life together.
