1 New Orleans

on the trolley down Canal Street.

inside Cafe du Monde.

best beignets around.

We have arrive to the famous New Orleans, Lousiana. My emotions are a little high living in this area. Driving through the night from Arkansas to Louisiana was probably not the best idea for nervous people like me. Driving through sketchy areas, thunderstorms, seeing people who were in gangs, and then driving through the city who is WIDE awake at night, was not my cup of tea.

We live right in the heart of the city. I love our apartment! We are living in a high rise, which to be honest, Colten and I have been wanting to live in one for awhile now. It's so fun to finally be able to do so. Very urban living and and that's what we love. Colten has been doing awesome in his summer sales! It's not easy going out to 97% humidity but he somehow makes it work with a smile on his face. We live right next to Canal street, so we can hop right on the trolley and go down to the French Quarters. That is where all the fun shopping is, the best food, and lets not forget the music. After watching Princess and The Frog, I was excited to live in such a historic, old city where the blues and jazz are practiced. The Beignets are to die for!! We had to go to Cafe du Monde to get the best ones. We got three for five dollars, with a hot chocolate to dip them in. VERY delicious.

Walmart is just a few blocks down. We have been going to a farmers market called Rousers which has great fresh flowers I love for our apartment. It's been fun re decorating. That's the advantage of moving constantly, is you get re arrange and re style.

Our apartment complex has a theater room, a big barbecue, a hot tub out doors, and a workout room. We have been having fun as a group taking advantage of these because our apartment complex is only 50% full, so it isn't too crowded. Us wives have been taking advantage of the theater room for our bachlorette nights, as the boys watch it for the NBA playoffs, and golf tournaments. We have been having a blast with all the other couples.
Colten's and his puppies. He's always finding a friend.
This was one of his customers dog, who was only a year old. Huge.
